Terms and conditions:

  • All booking must be paid for on the day of the session before the session starts.

  • A clear 24 hours cancellation/reschedule period must be given.

  • All pre booked multiple sessions last for 3 months from the date of the first session.

  • Matt Hobson has the right to refuse to offer treatment on medical grounds, which may be detrimental to your health or out of Matt's expertise.

  • Any behaviour deemed inappropriate will immediately cancel the treatment and Matt will not offer refund.

  • All minors/vulnerable adults must be accompanied by parent/guardian/carer. No under 16s.

  • On rare occasion Matt might have to work away at short notice. A reschedule will always be offered first.

  • Your information is handled with the strictest of confidence in accordance to the Data Protection Act 2018. You may ask for your notes at any time.

Ethical practices: I use all vegan massage products and care is taken with recycling and washing to be ethical and sustainable

Is sports massage painful?

During the therapy session you'll feel both relaxed and a little discomfort, depending on how deeply I get in to tight muscles. The overall aim is to reduce the muscle tension and reduce any scar tissue that may have built up from injury. During the massage I ask for feedback from you and if it's too painful I won't be tough on it. It's not beneficial for you to be in pain.

After the massage you'll feel relief from tension and over the next few days you may feel a little tender in some areas. 

​

I use many techniques to help the muscle relax and not just massaging. I'll also use manipulation of joints and deeper stretching techniques to improve the muscles range of motion. By creating long muscles free from tension you'll feel more mobile and have a great mental feeling. I find it a great way to stop and have some me time, knowing that it'll help my job and my hobbies.
